Have High Ceilings? Longer Batons Now Available up to 5 feet!
If so, you may be happy to learn we now have batons in 60 inch lengths, making it easier to draw curtains on many of the track systems we offer. The 5 foot batons with clips are available in both clear acrylic (Part # 7136) and white fiberglass (Part # 84184), and are great for shorter users or those with tall curtains or draperies.
If your track system offers master carriers, they makes a great attachment point. If not, you can usually add an additional carrier between the first and second carriers supporting the curtain to help move the curtains from side to side. Batons also help to avoid fingerprints and smudges on hand drawn curtains, keeping your curtains better looking and longer lasting.

Lisa Bibbee has been specializing in marine canvas, cushions, and curtains, as well as designing clothing, costumes, and prototypes for over 14 years as the Samurai Seamstress in Santa Cruz, CA.
