CREATE THE WOW FACTOR

When you put your home up for sale, there is so such to be done, including staging for potential home buyers. According to Realtor.com, “Curtains are one of the most underused resources when preparing a home for sale, experts say. The right set of curtains or drapes can make or break some home sales—especially when it comes to transforming a room into the staged version you want your buyers to see.”

One of our customers, Michael V., was putting his Arizona home on the market and wanted to make some upgrades to his windows. He worked with our friendly customer service team and ordered several products including the 85000 curtain track, both ceiling and wall mount options and available in white, silver, and black, for the windows and closets in his home. He then added floor to ceiling curtains.

Along with curtain track 85000, he also used 84106 Wheeled Snap Carrier - Corded For Ripplefold and the team at Curtain-Tracks helped Michael by doing 60% fullness ripple fold styling for this project. Curtain fullness refers to the number of ripples or folds when the curtains are pulled closed.

When staging your home, Coldwell Banker suggests, "Installing curtains and blinds as close to the ceiling as possible draws the eye up and makes the room appear bigger. Panels should skim the floor." Michael did just that in every single room and the end result is fantastic!

In one room, Michael removed the old closet doors and added curtains on the 85000 track. Viola! Closet curtains! Replacing dated closet doors and adding a stylish curtain can create a completely new, fresh look for the entire room.

As he was preparing his home to be sold, he didn't just upgrade his window treatments, he also created a new look in the bathroom by adding aluminum track 88001, which is available in 6 foot, 8 foot, 12 foot and 16 foot sections. He used 88102 Privacy Cubicle Two Wheel Carrier with Ball Chain & Hooks and added a robin's egg blue shower curtain.

Our Oxford curtains are made of durable, top quality construction featuring a triple thick 1.5 inch header and Safe-T-Stitching locks in hems and seams. They are also machine washable. CLEAN AND FRESH DIY PROJECT

Anyone who has read our blog knows that we love helping our customers with their DIY projects. We love it even more when we get to see the finished project! Check out the pictures that Hanna sent us about how well her vision turned into reality. To achieve the look shown in these pictures, Hanna used two of our products, 3096 Wrinkle Band Tape, and 4142 Hooks.

We love how clean and fresh her living room looks with the sheer white curtains. The wrinkle band gives this very simple fabric some depth and dimension by giving the illusion of pinch pleats on perfectly flat curtains. Using sheers on big windows like hers is a great choice because they still let in the light but allow for privacy and a different feel in the room.

BREAK IT DOWN

Our 4142 hooks come in bags of 14 and are meant to be combined with our carriers with glides, so anyone looking to duplicate this look could choose from 7130 Double Wheel Carrier or 4121 I Beam Nylon Wheel Carrier or other compatible carriers. The wrinkle band tape is made from white cotton and is sold by the yard. This tape is meant to be sewn into curtains or fabric, which creates a finished, professional look for just about any DIY project. We have a very similar hook, which is made from plastic. If you choose this one, you’ll need to choose our 7124 Button Carrier or our 84100 Ball Bearing Carrier.

Hanna’s second set of pictures, a bedroom, are equally as pretty as her living room! She uses similar products here, but thinks outside of the window box by creating a room division with a ceiling mount track. So simple and so elegant! When Garrett at Cricket Trailer set out to combine his expertise in the design of small living quarters honed working for NASA on the Habitation Module of the International Space Station with his interest in camping, the concept of an "innovative, lightweight, compact, and flexible small environment" in which to travel and explore was born. We always like to get feedback from our customers to help us understand what we are doing well and where we need to make improvements. While some companies are afraid to acknowledge anything negative, we confess that we do get the occasional complaint. Sometimes the issue is our fault, sometimes there is an issue with Fedex or USPS with the product in transit, and sometimes the customer makes a mistake in placing their order.
