Cruising With Curtain Tracks
JUST CRUISING AROUND
We’ve often written about using curtain tracks in personal boats but for this blog post, we want to talk about big boats. When we say big, we mean cruise ships! Cruise ships use curtain tracks in a wide variety of places. In fact, we noticed curtain tracks used not only in the main guest cabins, but also in the restaurant, fitness locker rooms, entertainment stage, and spa. That’s a lot of curtain tracks!
A LITTLE PRIVACY
When it comes to the guest cabins, Curtain-Tracks curtains and accessories are used to cover the window, in the shower, and to separate the sleeping area from the living space. This is particularly helpful when a family has young children who may go to bed early and the parents prefer to stay up watching some TV after the kids are in bed. But the most used curtain track in these rooms is most likely the one over the main window. These windows are often large round windows so guests can gaze out at the water while traveling. The 88001 Privacy Cubicle Track could be used for a project like this. It is an aluminum track with silver satin finish and is available in 6 foot, 8 foot, 12 foot and 16 foot sections. If a longer track is needed, sections of track can be spliced together for longer applications. Another option is our popular 6100 Flexible Curtain Track.
GETTING SOME EXTRA ZZZZZZs…
When you are cruising, you are usually on vacation. When you are on vacation, you may want to catch up on some extra sleep. But if you happen to be cruising in Alaska in the summer where the days are long and the sun doesn’t set until late in the evening, curtains are very much welcomed. For this reason, oure Eclipse curtains are perfect to help block out the light!
We’ve said it before and we will say it again, there are so many uses for curtain tracks and Curtain-Tracks.com has the best selection around. Let us know if we can help you with your next project!
